The Harbour Forum

Harbour Pilot Blog for Entrepreneurs

One of the original participants in our coffee-house roundtable has started a weblog. His blog, The Harbour Pilot, has a mix of topics ranging from fundamentals of capitalism and the entrepreneurial drive, to current topics in economics, information, managing businesses, the life of an entrepreneur, and fly-fishing.

Shirtsleeves

The Pilot Blog is mostly geared to people who aren’t afraid to toll up their shirtsleeves, and dig into a problem. The articles tend to be straightforward and practical. When a question is fundamental, however, there is often a fairly wide-ranging exploration.

Bootstraps

The business level of the blog is for bootstraps, primarily. If you are self-financing, either through existing operations, or from saved resources, you will likely be at home at the pilot.

Relation to the Harbour Forum

The Harbour Pilot Blog is cross-affiliated with the Forum. The blog author for instance, is a significant contributor to the Forum’s library, and occasionally comments on the Forum as well. In a way, it might give you a feel for the kind of place the Forum is. The difference being, amongst other things, that the Blog is completely public and insecure. Wander over and have a look!
