How do I do it . . .?

login if you have a paypal account, or

proceed anyway to pay with a credit card

you will be asked to confirm your payment

within ten seconds, you will be returned to the Harbour Forum Site, to advise if the payment is successful. If you do not see a Transaction Status Screen, press “Refresh” or “Reload” on your browser.

What then...?

There will be a series of e-mails. These usually arrive within a few minutes, but this depends on internet activity, and response times of your own provider. One will be an e-mail with an invoice/receipt for your subscription, for your files. The second will be an e-mail with a registration link. Click on it, and you will be taken to the registration page.

You will need to select a nickname for your posting identity on the site. We prefer that you NOT use your real name, for reasons of confidentiality. You will also need a password. You will be asked to certify that you are over 13, and also asked to type in a visual code image shown to you. This is an anti-robot tactic - if you have difficulty with this step, please e-mail us and we will assist.

After ensuring that your chosen nickname has not already been used, you will be sent an e-mail confirming your registration. Within several minutes, you will receive the final e-mail needed, welcoming you to the group, and activating your account.

While this may seem rather elaborate, it is fully automated, and the cycle takes typically less than 10 minutes.
